The seventh arrondissement of Paris is a quiet neighbourhood with lovely broad avenues lined with trees, the bustling market street of Rue Cler, and home to probably the most famous parisian landmark of all, La Tour Eiffel. The beautiful Hausmannian buildings are so intriguing with their pretty details, wrought iron balconies, and tall French doors.
These graceful buildings were across the street from a place I stayed in. I loved to sit on the terasse, and watch the way the light changed the colours as the day passed into evening and imagine who might have lived there in days past...
